Prizren, Kosovo – May 12, 2021 – The ICT for Kosovo’s Growth project hosted a B2B event at the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren. This event brought together ICT businesses and companies from the Creative Industry, Marketing, Innovation, Intangible Cultural Heritage, and Artisanal sectors. The goal was to explore how both sectors can cooperate in digital transformation, competitiveness, and export development.

Organizers and Stakeholders

The event was organized in cooperation with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Economy, Municipality of Prizren, STIKK, and local business chambers. Other project partners also contributed to the event. It aimed to strengthen the business ecosystem and foster greater collaboration between sectors.

Keynote Speakers

The event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Ahmet Jetullahu, Director of Prishtina REA. Afterward, Mr. Agim Kukaj, Director of the ICT and Electronic Communication Department at the Ministry of Economy, spoke about the importance of digitalization. Following his remarks, the Mayor of Prizren Municipality, Mr. Mytaher Haskuka, shared his thoughts. Other speeches were delivered by Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi, Director of the Innovation and Training Park, and Mr. Dominik Deda, Project Manager at STIKK.

B2B Meetings and Networking

The event hosted 12 ICT companies and 33 local companies from sectors such as Creative Industry, Marketing, Innovation, and Artisanal sectors. These companies participated in 65 B2B meetings. The meetings allowed ICT companies to present their products and services. In return, local businesses learned how these solutions could aid their digitalization and internationalization efforts.

Key Attendees

The event was attended by KFOR, the German Development Agency (GIZ), representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Creative & Artisanal Industry Cluster, and local officials. Media representatives from both national and local TV stations were also present.

This event successfully connected ICT businesses and local industries. Participants saw the potential of integrating ICT solutions into their operations to boost efficiency and competitiveness. The B2B format made it easier for businesses to collaborate and explore new opportunities for growth through digital transformation.
