B2B Event in Lipjan: Promoting Digitalization and Business Cooperation

On December 10, 2021, the EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector project hosted a B2B event in Lipjan. The project aims to enhance the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses through digitalization and internationalization, contributing to economic growth and job creation. The event brought together ICT businesses and local companies from non-ICT sectors to explore opportunities for cooperation in digitalization, innovation, and export growth.

This event was organized in cooperation with the Municipality of Lipjan.

Attendee Participation

The B2B event was open to the public, with around 38 attendees. Mr. Grigoris Kontzoglou, Team Leader, opened the event by presenting the ICT for Kosovo’s Growth project. Mrs. Shehide Sopa and Mrs. Merita Magashi from the Municipality of Lipjan also addressed the participants. The event continued with presentations from ICT companies, who shared their experience, products, and services focused on digital transformation and digital marketing for traditional businesses.

Sessions and Discussions

Participants had the opportunity to attend several sessions during the event. They discussed topics related to digital transformation and digital marketing with ICT companies. Attendees also developed recommendations and explored potential partnership opportunities. The goal was to foster business development, promote digital transformation, and improve market presence through the benefits of digital marketing.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants agreed on the need to integrate digitalization into all business operations, including production and management systems. This shift will improve their competitiveness in both local and international markets.

Positive Feedback and Future Opportunities

Participants highly appreciated the event format. They found it valuable to have the opportunity to discuss digital transformation processes in detail. In total, the event facilitated 88 B2B meetings, which provided further opportunities for businesses to connect and collaborate.
