On November 8, 2021, the project EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector hosted a B2B event in Podujevo. The goal was to support the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses by helping them digitalize and expand internationally, ultimately contributing to economic growth and job creation. The event brought together ICT businesses and local non-ICT companies, specifically those in horticulture, to explore opportunities for cooperation in digitalization, innovation, and export growth.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Podujevo, the STIKK association, and local business chambers and associations operating in Podujevo.
The B2B event was open to the public, with about 15 participants in attendance. Mrs. Edita Krasniqi, Office Manager, kicked off the event with a welcome speech, introducing the ICT for Kosovo’s Growth project. Mr. Ismet Mulaj then presented the Enterprise Europe Network, an EU-funded project supporting business development. The session continued with presentations from ICT companies, highlighting their expertise and digital solutions designed to transform traditional businesses, particularly in digital marketing.
During the event, participants had the chance to attend various sessions, where they discussed topics related to digital transformation and digital marketing. They developed recommendations and explored partnership opportunities to advance business development, enhance digitalization efforts, and improve local and international market presence.

The sessions followed a structured process of brainstorming and information exchange, allowing participants to reach consensus on future collaborations. They also discussed potential barriers and solutions.
Participants unanimously agreed on the need for digitalization in all business operations, including production and management systems. They recognized that embracing digitalization would enhance their competitiveness in both local and international markets.
Overall, attendees gave positive feedback on the event’s format. They found the opportunity to discuss digital transformation processes beneficial, gaining a clearer understanding of how to implement changes within their own businesses.
