The EU funded “EU Support for the Competitiveness of Kosovo’s ICT Sector” project through Enterprise Europe Network Kosovo/ Prishtina REA, in cooperation with the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce organises a B2B Matchmaking and Networking Event on 15-16 of February, 2023 in Brno, with the participation of selected ICT businesses from Kosovo, Czech Republic and EU business participants. The aim of the event was to explore potential business opportunities, establish direct cooperation and networking with counterparts from the Czech and other EU ICT sectors. There were over 361 participants from 23 different countries registered tp attend the Industry
4.0 event in Brno

The Kosovar developed ICT businesses had the opportunity to visit and meet with managers from ICT and innovative organisations and institutions such as South Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC), CEITEC- University of Brno, and Intemac Solutions-EDIH- Digimat Test-bed.

On the first day of the onsite event, there were discussion panels with experts and inspiring people (technology, digital success stories), expert speeches on technologies and their practical implementations, while during the afternoon session, as per the arrangements, the on site matchmaking event (B2B meetings), and business networking between Czech/EU and Kosovar counterparts took part. The B2B matchmaking event was indeed, an excellent opportunity for the companies to promote their products/services, explore possibilities for synergies and business cooperation.

The Kosovar ICT businesses that participated in the event were:
• Rrota – had 10 meetings,
• Sentry Cyber Security – had 6 meetings,
• Kutia – had 4 meetings,
• Tactica – had 7 meetings,
• ITVision – had 7 meetings,
• Hallakate – had 2 meetings and
• Prishtina REA/EEN Kosovo – had 4 meetings,

while online meetings are also arranged by Mitrovica Public University and AK Security Soft. So far, above #46 B2B meetings occurred between companies and organisations

On the second day of the event, the representatives of Kosovar companies and organisations had field networking visits to South Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC), CEITEC-University of Brno, Intemac Solutions-EDIH- Digimat Testbed.
