The business tour, scheduled for February 11th to 14th, 2025, is an exclusive programme which will include tailored visits and discussions with key regional stakeholders, designed to align with your specific projects and objectives.

WAICF, an event of international scope The World AI Cannes Festival brings together key decision-makers and AI innovators driving transformative AI strategies. It highlights cutting-edge technologies and identifies disruptive AI applications. The event also showcases solutions to help businesses across all sectors adopt these innovations more effectively. As it takes place in the region, attendees will be introduced to regional partners and receive support for integration into the AI ecosystem. The B2B Matchmaking Event, visits to AI institutes and participation to WAICF will be organised from 11-14 of February 2025 in Nice and Cannes-South France, during the World AI Cannes Festival (WAICF), which brings together the people and companies that are currently designing the most game-changing and purposeful AI strategies on the planet. This edition of the WAICF focuses on AI4Healthcare, AI4Manufacturing, AI4Retail and AI4Banking^Finance. Maximum 7 Kosovar ICT companies will have the opportunity to meet with French, EU and other international businesses from all participating countries. The B2B event aims at exploring potential business opportunities and establishing direct cooperation with their counterparts from the global ICT, software, AI solutions and digital segment.

  • The B2B and matchmaking event will be organised in cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network Kosovo (Prishtina REA).
  • The event AGENDA is very dynamic, with a lot of key note sessions, B2B matchmaking, pitches, workshops and business networks.
  • On the first day of the event, the visit will take part in Nice/ Sophia Antipolis, visiting and networking with the 3AI Institute (one of the four ‘interdisciplinary institutes for AI” in France), the Cluster AI (Association that aims to bring together all the players in AI) and then, visiting Inria (the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and technology). During the afternoon, there will be visit to the Technology Park of Sophia Antipolis, the main technology park in Europe, networking meeting with regional leaders of the AI ecosystem and continuing meeting with AKTANTIS, a leader technology cluster.
  • During the second day, with the support of risingSUD (EEN Marseille), the Kosovar delegation will be assisted on networking with French southern AI companies and key-players at the WAICF, by matchmaking as per the scheduled B2B appointments prior to the event. Afterwards, the delegation will continue visiting the WAICF participants and taking part to diverse sessions, activities and pitching events

Who can apply?

Kosovar software oriented, ICT and digital private companies with good potential for international cooperation, and if the company and the representative manager meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • For all the above criteria, the applicant should be able to provide a relevant certificate or receipt if requested.
  • Candidates who participated in the Internship Scheme provided by the Project will be granted additional 15 points.
  • Companies/managers that participated in any of the previous international B2B events organised by the Project cannot apply.
  • Please note that only successful applicants will be notified.
