On 22 November, 2021, The Project “EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector” which aims to support the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses in digitalization and internationalization in order to contribute to economic growth and the creation of new employment opportunities conducted a B2B event in Istog, where the ICT businesses meet with local Fish Processing and Tourism companies, and explored their mutual business cooperation opportunities in terms of digital transformation, competitiveness and export development.

The meeting was open to the public and approximately 14 people were in attendance. During the meeting, attendees shared opinions, thoughts and suggestions for consideration of integrating Information and technology elements into the business that are managed by Women.

The B2B Event for ICT and local companies in Istog have been organised in cooperation with the Municipality of Istog business chambers and associations of Istog Municipality. The event was carried on with welcoming speech of Mrs Edita Krasniqi, the project ICT For Kosovo’s Growth, followed with the speech of Mr.Ismet Mulaj, Enterprise Europe Network, EU funded project.

ICT companies present in this event, had the chance to have each 15 minute presentations, inform and present their products and services for Digital marketing.
All concluded and embraced the need for technology integration in all the production and management system. Consequently, overall implementations have proceeded smoothly and have produced a highly referenceable base that can be leveraged for development and ICT integration.

Participants appreciate the form of meetings that took place. Gave them a sense of comfort to be explicitly asked to walk through the production requirements from ICT perspective and to participate in the process of visualizing how the requirements will be implemented.

After the realization of B2B we visited the companies of the fish processing, where the ICT companies were informed about their work.From Fish Processing and Tourism sector, we had 12 companies and each of them meet with present ICT businesses and exchanged information’s, contacts and brochures to have other meetings with the focus on Digital marketing. B2B meetings-24 meetings.

Both the production companies and ICT companies have embraced the need for technology integration in all the production and management system.
