Number of Selected Applicants

The goal is to select 14 interns for the first period of the Internship Scheme, which will start in April 2024.

Matching Interns with ICT Companies – Tripartite Agreement

Once candidates are evaluated and selected, the Project will help match them with participating ICT companies. The Project will support trainees in connecting with host companies within the Internship Scheme.

A standard tripartite agreement template will outline the general terms and conditions of the internship, including:

  • Duration
  • Roles and responsibilities of the trainee, host company, and the Project
  • Support mechanisms for the trainee

The signing of this agreement between the Project, the selected trainee, and the host ICT company will formalize the internship. The agreement defines the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of all parties, ensuring a clear, structured, and mutually beneficial experience.

Each agreement will be customized to reflect the specifics of the internship, such as any special requirements from the host company, the internship objectives, and any personal development goals of the trainee. This ensures the agreement is relevant and tailored to the needs of everyone involved.

The internships will take place from April 1 to June 30, 2024, following the signing of the tripartite agreement.

Implementation of Internships – Placement in ICT Companies

Once the agreement is signed, interns will begin their internships at the host companies. Placement will depend on the available positions within the ICT companies. With the assistance of TAT, trainees will select the most suitable positions for themselves.

The Project will maintain regular contact with both the interns and the host companies. Throughout the 3-month internship, the interns’ progress will be closely monitored. Trainees will receive ongoing support and guidance from both the host company and TAT, when necessary. This support ensures any issues are addressed quickly and that the internship provides a valuable and constructive learning experience.

The ICT for Kosovo’s Growth Project will actively promote and share the results of the internship scheme.

Internship Evaluation and Assessment

As the internships progress, the Project will schedule periodic evaluations. These evaluations will involve feedback sessions with both the trainees and their mentors at the host companies.

At the end of the internship, the Project will conduct a thorough assessment process that includes both quantitative and qualitative measures to capture the full scope of the internship results.

Baseline Assessment and Final Evaluation

The assessment process will start with a baseline assessment. This will identify each trainee’s initial skills and the specific objectives of the host companies. The baseline data will serve as a reference point for measuring progress and development throughout the internship.

At the conclusion of the internship, a final assessment will be conducted to evaluate the overall impact and success of the internship.
