The ICT for Kosovo’s Growth project aims to support the professional development of certified trainees and enhance the competitiveness of Kosovar ICT businesses. This is achieved by providing these businesses with a skilled workforce trained in modern ICT technologies.

The project will help certified trainees, who have completed a five-month (300-hour) training program in Cyber Security, Web Application Development, Enterprise Java & Mobile, Python Programming, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. These trainees will gain practical experience by working in ICT companies and organizations. The project plans to implement 40 structured internships, targeting top-performing trainees who have shown exceptional skill and dedication during their training.

In February 2024, the project launched the Unique Internship Opportunity in Kosovo’s ICT industry. This opportunity connects trainees with ICT companies that offer paid internships. The program will continue to evolve based on the needs of these companies.

The project is now calling on ICT organizations or companies that require ICT support to participate in the Internship Scheme. These organizations will host certified trainees for 3-month paid internships, with the project covering a monthly fee of 250 EUR.

Through this scheme, the EU-funded ICT Development Project for Kosovo will match certified trainees with host organizations. These internships will start in September 2024 and aim to build a skilled workforce that meets the demands of Kosovo’s ICT sector.
