On June 20, 2022, the EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector project hosted a Workshop and Matchmaking Event titled “Project and Grant Funding Opportunities.” The event aimed to support the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses by promoting digitalization and internationalization. Its goal was to contribute to economic growth and create new employment opportunities.
The workshop brought together local stakeholders, including universities, R&D institutions, chambers, associations, and businesses from the ICT and manufacturing sectors in Kosovo. The participants learned about various EU project and grant funding opportunities.
The event began with a welcoming speech and a presentation by Mr. Ahmet Jetullahu, Director of the Prishtina REA. His presentation focused on funding opportunities related to innovation and ICT, such as Erasmus, Horizon, Single Market Program, and the Digital Program. The presentation covered relevant topics for the attendees.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for participants to connect, exchange information, and explore potential future collaborations. By meeting with ICT businesses, non-ICT companies could share contacts and ideas, creating a foundation for possible future business opportunities.
