On May 12th, 2021, The Project “EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector” which aims to support the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses in digitalization and internationalization in order to contribute to economic growth and the creation of new employment opportunities conducted a B2B event in Prizren, where the ICT businesses meet with Creative Industry, Marketing and innovation, Intangible Cultural Heritage and Artisanal companies, and explored their mutual business cooperation opportunities in terms of digital transformation, competitiveness and export development.

The B2B Event for ICT and local companies in Prizren have been organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy, Municipality of Prizren, STIKK, business chambers and associations of Prizren Municipality, partners, collaborating institutions, trainees of training programmes, partners of other projects and institutions promoting partnership towards the project results. The event was carried on with welcoming speech of Prishtina REA director, Mr Ahmet Jetullahu, and then with honoured speech from the Director of ICT and Electronic Communication department from Ministry of Economy Mr. Agim Kukaj, Mayor of Prizren Municipality Mr. Mytaher Haskuka, Director of Innovation and Training Park Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi and STIKK project manager- Mr. Dominik Deda.
With participants from 12 ICT companies and 33 local companies from Creative Industry, Marketing and innovation, and Artisanal sector, had the opportunity to meet in a special dedicated space for B2B meetings. In total 65 B2B meetings took place. The participating ICT companies had the chance to present their products and services, while local companies were able to get full information about existing ICT products and services for their digitalization and internationalization.

Representatives of KFOR where present, including GIZ (German Development Agency) representatives, Ministry of Economy and Development, Cluster of Creative & artisanal Industry, Municipal officials, two national and two local TV Stations.
