B2B Event in Prizren: Connecting ICT and Creative Industries

On May 12th, 2021, the EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector project organized a B2B event in Prizren. The event aimed to support Kosovar businesses in digitalization and internationalization. ICT companies met with businesses in the Creative Industry, Marketing, Innovation, Intangible Cultural Heritage, and the Artisanal sector. They explored mutual business opportunities in digital transformation, competitiveness, and export development.

Event Overview

The event was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Municipality of Prizren, STIKK, and local business chambers. Partners and collaborating institutions also supported the event.

Mr. Ahmet Jetullahu, Director of Prishtina REA, welcomed the participants. Mr. Agim Kukaj, Director of the ICT and Electronic Communication Department from the Ministry of Economy, also spoke. Mr. Mytaher Haskuka, Mayor of Prizren Municipality, and Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi, Director of the Innovation and Training Park, were key speakers. Mr. Dominik Deda, STIKK Project Manager, concluded the speeches.

B2B Meetings and Networking

The event included 12 ICT companies and 33 local businesses. They met in a dedicated space for B2B meetings. In total, 65 meetings took place. ICT companies presented their solutions, while local businesses learned about ICT products for digitalization and international growth.

Key Participants and Coverage

KFOR, GIZ (German Development Agency), and representatives from the Ministry of Economy attended the event. The Cluster of Creative & Artisanal Industries and municipal officials also participated. Additionally, national TV stations and local TV stations covered the event.
