On June 22, 2021, the EU Support to the Competitiveness of the Kosovo ICT Sector project organized a Networking and B2B Workshop in Peja, Kosovo. The event brought together ICT businesses and local non-ICT businesses from the Tourism and Gastronomy sectors. They explored mutual cooperation opportunities in digital transformation, competitiveness, and export development.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Grigoris Kontzoglou, Team Leader of the project ICT For Kosovo’s Growth. Mr. Ahmet Jetullahu, Director of Prishtina REA, then presented EU funding opportunities for innovation and ICT. He covered relevant programs such as Erasmus, Horizon, Single Market, and Digital Programs.
The participating ICT companies gave 15-minute presentations, showcasing their products and services to non-ICT businesses.
A total of 22 participants attended the event. This included 4 ICT company representatives, 14 non-ICT businesses, 1 representative from the Municipality of Peja, and 3 trainees.
